I want to breakdown the COVID Update from Governor Baker today (Tuesday 12/8/20).

At 1 pm, Governor Baker had a press conference to announce a STATEWIDE rollback to Phase 3, Step 1.

First off, what does this mean for us at Prototype Training Systems (CrossFit Prototype) and other gyms?

  • Capacity for Gyms indoors goes back from 50% capacity to 40% capacity.
    • Prototype has been operating at 25% capacity, so no change.

  • Masks at Gyms are required to be worn AT ALL TIMES.
    • Despite a controversial decision, we have been doing this for the last 2 months, so no change for us.

As always we will continue to do our part and follow the guidelines set forth by the State of Massachusetts.

For an overall review of the Statewide Rollback please review below (taken directly from mass.gov)
