Prototype Kid of the Month: Liam Hartson

Prototype Kid of the Month

Liam is a busy 10 year-old who came to CFP with a love of sports – he plays soccer,
basketball, lacrosse, snowboards, skateboards, rock climbs, hikes and bikes regularly.
But, Liam lacked speed, agility and strength to make his performance on the field all that it
could be.
Because Liam was looking to get strong, a friend suggested he look into CFP. He started the
Prototype Kids program in February 2013 with his best friend Zach and was instantly
hooked. Since February, they have worked out three times a week after school in
Hopkinton.
At first Liam admits the workouts were so challenging he would be sore at practice. But, he
quickly found himself shooting stronger, throwing farther, passing harder and running faster
than he ever had. He begged his Mom to buy him a chin-up bar and went from not being
able to do a single chin-up to now working on doing 9+ in a row.
At CFP Liam and Zach enjoy competing against each other to get the best time or the most
reps but they support each other in their workouts too. “I feel stronger after each
workout,” Liam says.
Liam continues to work hard at CFP and is working on a new goal of being able to do a
muscle-up. At home, Liam and his Mom have started incorporating a Paleo menu into their
daily routine. “I feel more energetic eating real foods,” Liam says.
“Thanks to Jon, Mike and Brian for challenging me every day! CFP is awesome!”
