My journey at CrossFit began in November of 2013 and since then I have been going every week. My brother was the one who I had heard about it from. He had been going since the past summer, and I thought I should give it a try. For me, it helps me stay strong for sports and prevent injury.
Last spring I hurt my knee and CrossFit helps keep my knees strong on top of the exercises I do at home. At CrossFit what I really like the most is the exercises, doing the workouts, and knowing that I am getting stronger.
My goals as an athlete are to play high school and college athletics as well as to stay fit and healthy. When I’m not at CrossFit, I play basketball and lacrosse competitively. I would not say I have a favorite because whatever season I am in I feel is my favorite.
