Share your CrossFit Prototype experience and fitness journey
Before I started CrossFit my workout consisted of going to the gym and attending step classes. It’s been 3.5 years since the start of my CrossFit journey when my Brazilian girlfriends and I decided that we should start CrossFit, so we did! My plan was to go 2-3 times a week, but I find myself here almost every day of the week (except Sundays). I can’t just miss a class, especially on squat days 🙂 I’m a competitive person and I want to keep pushing myself more and more which is what CrossFit has helped me to do.
What is your favorite part about being at CFP?
My favorite part about being at CrossFit Prototype was how welcome I felt coming into the CFP family because of all the positivity and motivation they showed us. I was able to meet awesome people, some of which became close friends today. The coaches were also a big part of my growth at CFP as they were extremely welcoming and motivational. And shout out to coach Brian for making my time here especially awesome!! I love being able to come in every day and when I can’t make it for some reason, my day feels incomplete. I love the feeling of accomplishment I get when I obtain new skills and push myself to higher limits. I also love watching and cheering on the other members as they push to achieve and obtain their own goals. I’m always actively posting our workouts on social media because I love showing others what we do and what Crossfit and CFP is really about.
What are your hobbies and activities?
My hobbies consist of working out, traveling, enjoying life with my friends and family, and of course, partying hard!! I also love playing volleyball and going shopping in my free time.
How has (if it has) CFP helped you outside the gym?
CFP has allowed me to overcome hard challenges that I couldn’t handle before. I find myself being more active, having more energy, and eating healthier. These are things I struggled to commit to in the past, but now I can confidently say it has become an integral part of my lifestyle. It has made me a better athlete and continues to make me feel more confident in my skin.
What are you continuing fitness goals to this point?
My continuing fitness goals from this point on is to keep improving my overall fitness and progress athletically in all areas.
I don’t want a perfect life I want a happy life!
