Share your CrossFit Prototype experience and fitness journey

When I was in 5th grade my mom started doing CrossFit. I was fascinated by the stories she came home with everyday. New things she learned that I never knew about. One day she came home saying that they had opened the kids class and that Mike said that I could join. Of course I said yes immediately (who wouldn’t want to do all these awesome things). Fast forward years later and I’m still here loving every aspect of CrossFit, always learning new things. I’m a healthier stronger person and I love how CrossFit has influenced my life.

What is your favorite part about being at CFP?

My favorite part about being at CrossFit is the community it creates. Never in my life have I met so many people who are so caring and always willing to cheer you on (even when some things aren’t that impressive).

What are your hobbies and activities?

Outside of CrossFit, I participate on the high school ski team and enjoy spending time with my dog, reading books, and being out in nature.

How has (if it has) CFP helped you outside the gym (in sports etc)?

CrossFit has helped me in so many aspects of my life. It has definitely helped my skiing, because that takes some muscle and coordination, and it prepared me for olympic lifting. I also want to thank CrossFit for helping me outside of my physical ability. CrossFit has helped boost my confidence in myself so much. I’m usually terrified of talking to people, but when I come to the gym I know that everyone there won’t judge me and will always help me if I need it.

What are you continuing fitness goals to this point?

I don’t have an exact fitness goal, but I do know that I want to get stronger and healthier and that I’m looking forward to my first weightlifting competition.

What is your favorite quote?
