Share your Prototype experience and fitness journey

Well during the college period I began to work out with my friends. After moving to the MA, I am kind of missing the time of working out in a group. One of my friends then introduced me to the Crossfit. That is how I start at Prototype. In shorts, the experience of Prototype is awesome, I can see how my mental and physical fitness progressed. I remembered that I cannot even barely finish tens of wall balls in the first couple of months. Then I can do 20 in a row. I hit my 300lb deadlift at the prototype, and currently I learned how to do T2B and PULL UP with the help from Jon.

What is your favorite part about being at Prototype?

Well, I think that the favorite part is people, which is the reason why I went to Crossfit. To be honest, at the very beginning, I was really nervous about it since I saw from the video that the guys doing Crossfit are pretty skillful, and I didn’t not even know those basic movements. However, after attending the classes, they are totally gone. Actually the coaches are professional and willing to help (Jon, G, Bethany,  Leah, Brian, Christina, Caithlin and Mike, you guys are awesome). Meanwhile, people in the class are super-friendly. We will encourage each other and push each other. Encouraging each other to push till the end during the end is the best part.

What are your hobbies and activities?

Movie, TV shows, Video games, traveling with friends around the world

How has (if it has) Prototype helped you outside the gym (in sports etc)?

Definitely my physical fitness is the best ever with the exercises in the Prototype. The more important part is to get more systematic knowledgement about the body. Here, there should be loud shouts for Coach Jon.C. He really helps me understand how to lose weight, how to adjust your daily food intake for balanced nutritions, which is super helpful.

What are you continuing fitness goals to this point?

Muscle up, handstand, 185 snatch, so many things. Well the most important thing, enjoying the work out
