Share your Prototype Training Systems experience and fitness journey

I was always part of some gym somewhere throughout my life. I exercised pretty consistently at my college gym and then at local gyms wherever I lived. I always felt that going to the gym was so boring and I hated it but I needed to go to lose weight, get toned, and be healthy. All those negative feelings changed when I joined Prototype after having my son Ben in 2012. I love being part of a community filled with amazing people who help me become a better person not just physically but also mentally. I’ve been attending  Prototype Thrive classes consistently and an occasional CrossFit class when I can.

What is your favorite part about being at Prototype?

The Coaches & Community! I love coming into the gym to see all my friends and familiar faces. I feel like I get a social hour along with my daily workout when I come to class. When I skip a day I feel like I’ve missed out on something (FOMO) and my day doesn’t feel as good when I don’t start my day with a workout! I also love how supportive everyone is to each other. It’s just a great community to be a part of.

What are your hobbies and activities?

CFP workouts, traveling, and eating, shopping, spending time with friends

How has (if it has) Prototype helped you outside the gym (in sports etc)?

Prototype has definitely helped me outside of the gym. I have more strength and energy keeping up with my kids, carrying them up the stairs when their legs don’t work, and carrying all the grocery bags into the house in 1 trip.

What are you continuing fitness goals to this point?

Having a healthy body image and healthy relationship with food, eliminating diet myths from my brain, and just staying consistent at the gym.
