WHAT CROSSFIT IS ALL ABOUT

Prototype Training Systems is the home of CrossFit Prototype, a CrossFit affiliate since 2012.  Our CrossFit classes are the most popular group class that we offer, and our members love it! These classes are 60 minutes in duration, providing a full-body workout every single day! The beauty behind our CrossFit classes is the elegant blend of mobility, strength training, and conditioning workouts that vary on a day to day basis. CrossFit combines your fundamental bodyweight exercises such as push-ups, bodyweight squats, and burpees with strength training movements involving barbells, kettlebells, and dumbells as well as your traditional conditioning movements such as running, rowing and jump roping. These classes are all coach-led, meaning that you are never exercising on your own. You are always under the guidance of one of our professional and qualified coaches, teaching and instructing you the whole time. For all those new to CrossFit (have never been a member of another CrossFit affiliate), we require everyone to go through 4, 1-1 training sessions before entering our group class program. These sessions are called our Virtuosity Prep course.

These Virtuosity sessions are meant to assess your fitness level and movement capacity, build a relationship with a coach and teach you how to execute the fundamental movements you will see in class. When you get into our group classes, your workout of the day (WOD) is already designed for you, and your coach will modify or adjust the workout based on your goals and movement limitations. We are here to help you not only get a great workout in each day but guide you on your fitness journey! The best part… these classes are done in a group format so you receive accountability from your coach and your fellow members in the community.
